PSAC SE Quadrant Representative
Due to a vacancy on the Private Security Advisory Committee (PSAC), CLEET is accepting letters of interest and resumes from qualified individuals who are interested in serving as the SE Quadrant representative. Southeast Quadrant consists of the following counties: Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Choctaw, Coal, Haskell, Hughes, Johnston, Latimer, LeFlore, Lincoln, Love, MacIntosh, Marshall, McCurtain, Murray, Okfuskee, Pittsburgh, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Pushmataha, Seminole, and Sequoyah. The Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training is authorized to “appoint an advisory committee composed of representatives from security guard and private investigative agencies to advise the Council concerning necessary research, minimum standards for licensure, education, and other matters related to licensure of security guards, security guard agencies, private investigators, and private investigative agencies.” Members serve three-year terms with option for reappointment, attend quarterly meetings, and are subject to all applicable statutes and rules governing such meetings. Only individuals holding an agency license or employed by a licensed agency and in good standing may apply by submitting a letter on agency letterhead, providing full name, CLEET license number, contact information and a brief statement of qualification and interest and resume. All applicants will be presented to the PSAC at their next regular meeting for recommendation to the Council.
