Healthy Schools Incentive Grants
The application period for HSIG is closed for 2013.
Please remember that in order to apply for a school district incentive grant, at least half of all schools in the district must apply for and receive recognition as a Certified Healthy School. The Certified Healthy School program is administered by the Oklahoma Healthy Schools Advisory Committee and other partners including the Oklahoma State Health Department. To access the guidelines and application documents to become a Certified Healthy School, please go to: http://www.okturningpoint.org/chp/chs/chs.html
The Healthy Schools Incentive Grants will provide opportunities for school districts to receive monetary awards based on student enrollment and level of incentive criteria met. Grant criteria selected place a priority on higher impact policies and actions to improve student health.
