Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
The EDI 835 transaction set, or Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) is part of the HIPAA standard transactions that are designed to improve claims management revenue cycle for providers. It is part of the ASC X12 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Remittance Advice. If you wish to enroll in 835 transactions, please click on the links below.
Currently, HealthChoice works directly with Change HealthCare (formerly Emdeon), Nuesoft Technologies, Inc., PNC Bank and DentalXChange intermediaries for the delivery of the EDI 835 transaction set. If the Network Provider has an intermediary (also known as a “clearinghouse”) that HealthChoice has not mentioned, the provider should contact their intermediary to determine if it will communicate with one of the participating intermediaries.
Network Providers should contact Employees Group Insurance Department (EGID) Network Management at 1-405-717-8790 or toll-free 1-800-543-6044, fax 1-405-717-8977, or email EGID.NetworkManagement@omes.ok.gov, or write to 3545 N.W. 58th St., Ste. 600, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 to check the status of their ERA enrollment. Please allow up to 14 business days for processing prior to checking status. Network Providers should use this form to sign up for ERA claim payments which are sent directly to their bank account. If they change tax identification numbers (TIN) or NPI Numbers, they must also complete and submit this form with their change request.
Non-Network providers should contact our health and dental claims administrator at 1-405-416-1800 or toll-free 1-800-782-5218 to check the status of their ERA enrollment.
