On Monday, October 25, the Oklahoma Tax Commission is bringing their office to the business owners and citizens of Enid and the surrounding areas. The OTC is launching a new mobile taxpayer assistance unit, and Enid is the first location the group will be visiting.
Personnel from the Oklahoma Tax Commission will be at Northwestern OSU on Monday, October 25 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Field representatives will be on hand to assist taxpayers who need help preparing or filing reports, accept payments, register new businesses and more. Personnel who are knowledgeable in new business registration, licensing and permit applications, as well as experts in individual income tax accounts will also be on hand to answer questions or assist with filing of taxes.
"We feel that it is important to go to the community and work face to face with the taxpayer to answer any questions or assist them with their needs," said Paula Ross, agency spokesperson. "This program is intended to provide taxpayers with a convenient and accessible way to do business with our agency."
Northwestern OSU is located at 2929 E Randolph in Enid. The taxpayer assistance unit will be located in Room 125, the Board Room.
