New information on the investigation into the murders of two girls just outside Weleetka June 8th will be released during a press conference Monday, July 21st at 10:30 a.m. outside the Okfuskee County Courthouse.

Information released will include different investigative techniques used in this case to find the person(s) who gunned down 11-year-old Skyla Whitaker and 13-year-old Taylor Placker. OSBI will also release an excerpt of the 9-1-1 call made by a family member of one of the girls' moments after they were discovered.

Thus far, OSBI agents, Okfuskee County District Attorney's Investigators, U.S. Marshalls, State Troopers and many other law enforcement personnel have run more than 500 leads in this case.
