Lt. Gov. Jari Askins will be one of many featured speakers at the Women in Public Service Leadership Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., March 13 at the Will Rogers Theater, 4322 N. Western Ave., Oklahoma City.
Conference speakers, including keynote addresses by State Representatives Anastasia Pittman and Pam Peterson along with other prominent female state leaders, will discuss leadership roles in public service for women. The conference will also include a panel question and answer session and tabletop discussions.
The conference is geared toward public service employees and students who are interested in developing their leadership skills or moving into positions of greater responsibility. Online registration for the conference is open through March 6. Conference registration is $50 for the general public and $25 for students.

This conference is part of the Practice and Policy Lecture Series and is sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management.
