The Oklahoma History Center is pleased to present a wonderful evening program with living history interpreter Ron Carnegie. An Evening with George Washington will begin at 7:00 pm January 16th, 2009. The History Center will open the galleries to the public at 6:00 pm with the program beginning promptly at 7:00 pm. Admission is free, the public is invited to attend and learn about our first president from a long time employee of Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
The first President of the United States will deliver his Farewell Address, and discuss his presidency. The president will conclude the program with questions from the audience.
Ron Carnegie began working for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in 1995. He has been involved with character interpretation for many years.
