The OSBI is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murders of 13-year-old Taylor Dawn Paschal-Placker of Weleetka and 11-year-old Skyla Jade Whitaker of Henryetta. The two girls were found shot to death Sunday evening in a ditch next to a dirt road just outside the town of Weleetka .
The medical examiner has performed an autopsy and determined the girls were shot multiple times. Placker's grandfather found the two shortly after the girls left his home to go on a walk.
The OSBI, Okfuskee County Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office will hold a press conference Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the only courtroom on the 1st floor of the county courthouse located at 209 N. 3rd Street in Okemah. More information about the case will be released at that time including the many leads coming into law enforcement.
