OSBI Forensic Artist Harvey Pratt interviewed several eyewitnesses over the weekend to put together a sketch of a person with whom investigators want to speak. The unidentified person was seen walking up to the victim's home at 417 N. Bryan in Okmulgee Thursday evening. The man is described as American Indian, approximately 20 years old, 6 feet tall with a slender build. He has a medium complexion and short black hair. He was wearing a light red tee shirt, black shorts with a grey cuff, and white tennis shoes.
The medical examiner's office has ruled 43-year-old Tammy Harjo died of blunt force trauma to her body. She was found inside her home Friday morning by an acquaintance.
If anyone recognizes the person in the sketch, they are urged to call either the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017 or the Okmulgee Police Department.
