Oklahoma
Forestry Services has promoted Brock Hill to the position of Area Forester,
responsible for management of its southeast operations. Hill will work out of
the regional office in Broken Bow and have responsibility for Coal, Atoka,
Bryan, Pushmataha, Choctaw and McCurtain counties.

Hill
will work closely with the commercial forest industry and his team will provide
wildfire suppression protection for all timberlands in southeast Oklahoma, as
well as assisting with statewide wildfire suppression efforts. He will also
oversee services provided to the public, which include developing land stewardship
plans, providing technical assistance to landowners and offering educational
programs for schools and communities.

Hill
has worked for Oklahoma Forestry Services since 2005, most recently serving as
District Forester in the Antlers office. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State
University, with a bachelor's degree in Forest Management. He can be reached at
