Scott Huff has been named Assistant Director and Forest Management Chief for Oklahoma Forestry Services (OFS). In this position, Huff will direct forest resource conservation and management initiatives, including a wide variety of federal and state programs designed to manage, utilize and regenerate Oklahoma's diverse forest resources.
Huff has worked for Oklahoma Forestry Services, a division of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, for the past 13 years as the manager of the OFS Forest Regeneration Center. He was responsible for nursery operations and sales in addition to the annual forecasting, planting and distribution of three to five million seedlings. Huff also managed around 50 permanent and seasonal employees. Prior to Oklahoma Forestry Services, Huff was vice president of Reynolds Forestry Consulting. Huff earned a bachelor's degree in Forestry and a master's degree in Forest Resources from Oklahoma State University.
