Statewide Discussion:

Increased sky cover and relative humidity values will moderate fine fuel moisture today; however dormant grasses will remain susceptible to ignition. The highest fire danger today will reside in the southwest quarter of Oklahoma where winds will be out of the northeast at 13-15 mph gusting to 20 mph and relative humidity will fall to near 30% with temperatures in the mid to upper 50??'s which may promote active fire behavior in fine fuels.

The remainder of Oklahoma should expect northerly winds at 4-10 mph, afternoon relative humidity from 35-50% and temperatures generally in the mid-50??'s. No critical fire control issues are anticipated in this area.
