The Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors is organized under the provisions of The Oklahoma Engineering and Land Surveying Act, Title 59 O.S. 475.1 et seq. The Board consists of four Professional Engineers, two Professional Land Surveyors, and one Public Member.
The Board is responsible for the administration and regulation of the professions of engineering and land surveying in Oklahoma. The Board reviews applications, administers examinations, licenses qualified applicants, and regulates the professional practice of the licensees throughout the State. The Board investigates alleged violations of provisions of the licensure law.
Board meetings are typically held at the Board's office in Oklahoma City and are open to the public. Persons wishing to bring matters for the Board's consideration should submit written notification or request to be placed on the agenda at least two weeks prior to the scheduled regular meeting.
