The Economic Research & Analysis Division collects information with the help of employers, the public, government agencies and various other entities in order to produce, analyze, and deliver timely and reliable labor market statistics to improve economic decision-making. |Employment v. Unemployment
||October 2018: Oklahoma's unemployment rate declines to 3.4 percent while nonfarm payroll employment sheds 600 jobs.
|Unemployment Insurance Claims
||Week ending 11/3/2018: Initial claims for unemployment insurance benefits jump while continued claims decline.
|County Unemployment Rates
||September 2018: Unemployment rates were lower than a year earlier in all 77 counties in September.
|State Unemployment Rates
||October 2018: Jobless rates were lower in 6 states, higher in 2 states, and stable in 42 states including Oklahoma and the District of Columbia.
|Three-Month Average Employment Change
||October 2018: Three-month average employment change up 1,600 jobs while Oklahoma sheds 600 nonfarm jobs over the month.

Local Area Unemployment Statistics: Visit here for current and historical employment and unemployment data as well as maps featuring the U.S.’s and Oklahoma’s unemployment rates.
Industry and Occupational Employment Projections: Visit here to explore industry and occupational employment projections. Our projections data is presented at the statewide level, as well as metropolitan area and nonmetropolitan area levels.
Occupational Employment Statistics: Visit here for information on hourly and annual wages organized by occupation and area. The Occupational Wage Network (OWN) is accessible from here.
Current Employment Statistics: The CES program provides detailed industry data on employment, hours, and earnings of workers on nonfarm payrolls collected through a large, nationwide survey.
Business Employment Dynamics: The BED program is a set of statistics generated from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, or ES-202, program. These quarterly data series consist of gross job gains and gross job losses statistics from 1992 forward. These data help to provide a picture of the dynamic state of the labor market.
Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages: The QCEW program provides a near census of data relating to employment, wages, and number of business establishments organized by industry and by geographic area.
Local Employment Dynamics: The LED program offers statistics on employment and wages by industry, age, and sex at any geographic location you choose.

Oklahoma's Workforce Dashboard: is an interactive tool designed to visualize data and patterns related to workforce, education, and training opportunities in the state. This dashboard was created for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and incorporates data from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, and the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.
