INFRA - Infrastructure For Rebuilding America Grants
Infrastructure for Rebuilding America advances a pre-existing grant program established in the FAST Act of 2015. INFRA utilizes updated criteria to evaluate projects that align with national and regional economic vitality goals and leverage additional non-federal funding. The program provides dedicated, discretionary funding for projects that address critical issues facing our nation’s highways and bridges. The program makes approximately $1.5 billion available for fiscal years 2017 through 2018 for awards to be made by the Secretary of Transportation.
