Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
The City of Oklahoma City and its Trusts have partnered with BidSync, Inc. to utilize an electronic bidding system. The BidSync system will provide vendors with the opportunity to sign up for an account, access the BidSync system, the ability to receive electronic notifications of bidding opportunities released by the City of Oklahoma City and its Trusts, and electronically submit bids/proposals to the City Clerk to be considered for contract/agreement award. There is no charge to vendors to use the BidSync system.
The City and BidSync provide a training video that is highly recommended for viewing. The training video will assist you in registering your company in the BidSync system and educate you on the bidding process. Early training and registration will allow you to have more time to concentrate on your bid/proposal after it is released. It is recommended that each vendor have at least two employees participate in the training. Recommended personnel include any person who will be accessing the bidding system to review specifications for which bids/proposals are being sought, and any person who will be responsible for entering bid/proposal pricing, information, and other required bidding documents into the system. For those documents that require a notary, each document must be notarized electronically. This requires the notary to go through the same process as the vendor to sign up for an account in BidSync.
