John is Executive Vice President of Citizens Security Bank & Trust Company in Okmulgee. He has been with the bank since 1985. He is currently Department of Transportation Commissioner representing District One. He presently serves as Board Chairman of the Okmulgee Area Development Corporation. He is a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class XIII.
John served on the Okmulgee Board of Education from 1996 to 2006. He served on the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital and President of the Okmulgee Country Club. He is former recipient of the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce Merit Award given for Outstanding Community Service.
John graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1979. He graduated from The Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in 1993.
John and his wife, Gwen, have been married for 35 years and have two children, Chris Fidler and Ashley Hebert, two grandsons, Brody Fidler, Luke Hebert, and a granddaughter, Emma Hebert.
