Sam Adkins has served as Division Manager for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s Programs Division since 1998.
Adkins began his career with the agency in 1977 at the Buffalo Residency and became the Division Six Field Maintenance Manager in 1988. He moved to the central office as Assistant Division Manager for the Programs Division in 1991 and served in that role until promoted to his current position in 1998.
Adkins holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. He and his wife, Cindy, live in Oklahoma City and have two children and three grandchildren.
