Matthew Swift was named Division Engineer for the Strategic Asset and Performance Division in November 2016. He previously served as the Pavement Management Engineer. In his new position with the division, Swift will oversee data collection and reporting for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s highway asset management and performance measurement systems, as well as geographic information systems and mapping organization of the division.
Swift began his career at ODOT in 2004 as a Project Engineer in Roadway Design and held that position until becoming the Pavement Management Engineer in the SAPM Division. In 2015 Swift was one of two selected to represent Oklahoma in the first Emerging Leaders Program with the Western Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. Swift holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.
He and his wife, Season, have three children and live in Jones.
