Lisa Endres was named Chief of Legal and Business Services Division for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in January 2018. Endres is responsible for managing activities of ODOT's Legal Division, including managing real property law, condemnation proceedings and other legal matters.
Prior to joining ODOT, Endres served as Assistant District Attorney for the Oklahoma County Civil Division. As Assistant District Attorney, she was responsible for defending Oklahoma County, its elected officials and employees in tort, constitutional and employment law litigation, as well as handling all aspects of defense litigation, investigating complaints and preparing and handling appeals.
Endres began her legal career in the public sector in 2006 as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma in the Litigation Division. Endres has been a member of the legal honor society Phi Delta Phi since 1993, has been a presenter at several Oklahoma Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Seminars and served as the Research Editor for the Law Review at the Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Born in Oklahoma City, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications in 1992 from Oklahoma State University. In 1995, she received her Juris Doctor from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Endres and her husband, John, live in Okarche and have one son.
