Caleb Austin was named Division Engineer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Roadway Design Division in January 2014. He was previously the Roadway Design Engineering Manager for Division Eight, which encompasses 11 counties in northeastern Oklahoma. In his current role, Austin oversees the development of plans for ODOT highway projects, ensuring that design standards and safety requirements for roadways are met.
Austin joined ODOT in 2002 and worked as a design engineer in the Roadway Design Division before being promoted to Engineering Manager. His accomplishments with the agency include overseeing design work for the reconstruction of the north and west legs of the Inner Dispersal Loop and the I-44 corridor in Tulsa.
Austin holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University. He and his family live in Okarche.
