This Month's Hot Topics

World AIDS Day - December 1st

The 2016 Federal theme is "Leadership. Commitment. Impact." There are so many ways to get involved. Learn more about our national efforts, and ways to get engaged, here at www.aids.gov

Looking to expand those efforts globally? The World Health Organization (WHO) is championing HIV self-testing and aiming to end AIDS by 2030. Learn more here.

National and global engagement is so important, but there's no better place to start than with yourself! Prevention and treatment are more advanced than ever, and knowing your status empowers you to take the next steps.

The Kay County Health Department offers HIV and STD testing at no charge to you (and there are no requirements for eligibility).  Find out more information on our HIV/STD page under Clinic Services on the menu to the left.

We also provide education and resources to help protect yourself and others. Come in and talk with us. OR  just…

Stop by to pick up a "brown bag special"!

The brown bag special is discrete bag of free condoms. We have them available at all locations, so take advantage today! (Condoms are highly effective in preventing HIV infection, but only when used correctly. Learn more about the right way to used them, and other prevention information, here. )
