  1. Current State of Oklahoma employees in the classified service or those having reinstatement rights should submit a copy of all of the following application materials:
    a. A cover letter containing the title and announcement number of the position for which you are applying. This information should include a telephone number where you can be reached during office hours, your mailing address, email address and your current classification and code.
    b. A completed Office of Personnel Management Personal Data Summary Sheet, form OPM-4B. The OPM-4B must clearly indicate how you meet the education and/or experience requirements.
    c. DCS-FORM-HR-026, Employment Application form, must be filled out completely, printed, signed, and brought for the interview.
  2. Applicants who have no previous classified state service or probationary employees must apply online with the Office of Personnel Management at www.ok.gov/opm then, click on the OKCareers button to find the appropriate job title. The link to the OPM website that lists current state job vacancies is www.ok.gov/opm/State_Jobs/index.html.
  3. To review a complete list of the job family descriptors, you can go to the website of the Office of Personnel Management or click on the following link: www.ok.gov/opm/opm_html/job_family_index.htm. This will provide you with detailed job duties and specifications for all job listings for employment with the State of Oklahoma.
  4. Applicants applying for unclassified positions may email their resume with a cover letter to dcs-hr@dcs.state.ok.us
