GRANT TITLE: RESIDENTIAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT (RSAT) GRANT PROGRAM
OVERVIEW: The purpose of the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Grant is to assist states and units of local government in developing and implementing residential substance abuse treatment programs within state and local correctional and detention facilities in which prisoners are incarcerated for a period of time sufficient to permit substance abuse treatment.
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for funding under this grant program, an applicant must be a(n): a) State Agency or b) Unit of Local Government (i.e., city, county, town).
BOARD PRIORITIES: The RSAT Board, comprised of seven members, is charged with reviewing grant proposals and determining awards for the grant funds.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION: The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Abuse Grant application for 2024 is currently closed and will re-open in 2025.
