Conference and Association Meeting Attendance by EGID Network Management

EGID Network Management staff sponsors numerous exhibits at conferences and association meetings throughout the year. Exhibits sponsored in 2012 included: Oklahoma Rural Hospital Association; Oklahoma Osteopathic Association; Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians; MyHealth Access Network; Joint Fall Health Conference with Oklahoma Primary Care Association, Rural Health Association of Oklahoma, and Oklahoma Office of Rural Health; Deaconess Health Fair; Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants; and Oklahoma Hospital Association.

Provider educational materials and newsletters for HealthChoice, Department of Corrections, and Department of Rehabilitation Services are handed out at the conferences. Educational materials include detailed information related to , the wellness initiative for primary HealthChoice health plan members age 20 and older who are not enrolled in a HealthChoice Medicare supplement plan, and the expanded benefits for certain preventive services which are covered at 100% of allowed charges for our members who meet the clinical criteria. These meetings also provide opportunity for providers to seek additional assistance with individual concerns.
