Anesthesia Reimbursement Changes

Effective January 1, 2013, HealthChoice and DOC will change the conversion factor from $50 to $55 for MD and DO anesthesiologists and from $45 to $50 for APRN-CRNAs. We will also apply the multiple surgical procedures and the bilateral surgical procedure reduction to all non-anesthesia CPT codes for anesthesiologists and APRN-CRNAs.
