Think Through Math

Dear Oklahoma Educators:

A very sincere thank you goes out to all of the Oklahoma schools and districts for their active involvement in the Think Through Math program this year.  It is proving to be a notable resource for our students. The high level of interest and excitement about math education speaks loudly to its success. Unfortunately we must report the following:

All of the secured seats that were contracted through the partnership of the Oklahoma State Department and Think Through Math have now been filled.  There will be no more new seats added for the remainder of the 2012-2013 school year. 

Think Through Math will begin reenrollment for the 2013-14 school year as we get closer to the start of the next school year.  It will be available to all school districts in Oklahoma AT NO COST. Everything, from student licenses, to implementation training and ongoing support, to participation in our national and Oklahoma-specific motivation program will still be included in this program provided by the SDE.  Please continue to monitor this webpage for any future updates. Also, the OSDE will continue to provide updates through our e-newsletter, Educator Currents, and Leadership Post. The OSDE encourages all districts to begin or continue working with Think Through Math directly for the remainder of this year.

Think Through Math is an award-winning, adaptive, math intervention for grades 4–8, including Algebra Readiness and Algebra I. The program provides unprecedented differentiation that prepares students for the more rigorous Common Core State Standards. Think Through Math deepens understanding of critical mathematical concepts, improves higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills, and transforms the way students feel about math – and themselves.
