Quilt Exhibit at Edmond Library Details Oklahoma History

The Buckboard Quilts exhibit runs daily through September at the Edmond Library. The exhibit contains quilts and memorabilia brought in the Oklahoma Land Run. The exhibit also, in quilted scrapbook form, showcases the history of Oklahoma's first libraries, schools and churches, founding families, period clothing and photos of '89ers and pioneers. The Buckboard Quilts exhibit is based on Edmond's 1905 Cookbook.

The Edmond Library, 10 S. Boulevard, is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 to 6 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call 405.341.9282.
