The Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) recently announced the inaugural
Rosenthal Prize for Innovation in Math Teaching. Designed to recognize and
promote hands-on math teaching in the upper elementary and middle school
classroom, the Rosenthal Prize carries a cash award of $25,000.
MoMath is looking for the highest caliber applicants in the country. Math
teachers affiliated with the Oklahoma State Department of Education are
invited to apply now.
Fourtth- through 12th-grade math teachers at schools in the United States are
eligible for the Rosenthal Prize. Applications are due Friday, May 11, 2012.
