In order to assist districts in complying with the Safe Schools and Bullying Prevention Act (HB 1661), Regional Meetings for Administrators and School Employees will be provided by the Oklahoma State Department of Education in collaboration with the Oklahoma PTA. Regional meetings are scheduled to begin in January, 2014, and will take place in regions located throughout the state.

These meetings will provide a framework for preventing, identifying, responding to, and reporting bullying.
