You could win $25,000 to improve fitness at your school by taking the Henkel Helps Kids Get Fit Challenge.

Love’s Creative SPARKS! Awards are open to all Oklahoma students K-12, including public, private, public charter, and homeschool students. The awards recognize students with creative ideas who use their imagination to envision a more creative learning environment that can be put into action in their school community.

Six Oklahoma schools were named Blue Ribbon Schools on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. The schools are among 269 national Blue Ribbon Schools. Schools are selected as Exemplary High Performing Schools or Exemplary Improving Schools.

All Oklahoma 8th grade students can participate in the “If I Were Mayor” essay contest, a program of the Mayors Council of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Municipal League. The deadline is Dec. 14, 2012.
