The Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS) has been tasked by the Governor to be the State Administrative Agency (SAA) for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grant programs. OKOHS is the single state agency responsible for the delivery of federal homeland security training, equipment funding and technical assistance.
OKOHS was created in state statute in May 2004 with the passing of the Oklahoma Homeland Security Act by the Legislature and signed by Governor Henry. The duties of the Office were further outlined when Governor Henry issued Executive Order 2005-6.
