OKC Man Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography

This morning an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force member from the Guthrie Police Department arrested Francisco Javier Martinez Macias (dob: 07/01/1971) at his residence 5824 South Villa, Apartment 129, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The investigation was initiated when Macias distributed child pornography images to the undercover Guthrie police officer.  Task force members from the Guthrie Police Department, Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, and the OSBI ICAC Unit, along with Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma City Police, and Task Force Federal law enforcement partners from the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Postal Service, served a search warrant at Macias’ residence.  Several computer-related items were seized at the scene and previewed.  Investigators discovered videos and still images of child pornography on several of the computer storage devices.  The computer equipment will be sent to the U.S. Secret Service for further forensic analysis.  The investigation will continue to determine if any local children are in any of the images.  Macias was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of one count of distribution of child pornography, one count of aggravated possession of child pornography, two counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.  Aggravated possession means more than 100 images were found.

A mug shot of Macias should be available soon on the Oklahoma County Jail inmate website.

If anyone has information about Macias that would help further this investigation, please contact the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the Guthrie Police Department.
