Terrorists CANNOT be identified merely by appearance, nationality or language. You can only identify a terrorist threat by observing or hearing about suspicious activity that may lead to criminal act. Report any activity or circumstance that seems frightening or unusual within the normal routines of your neighborhood, community or workplace.

Those who commit terrorist acts:

Usually live among us without appearing suspicious while planning for their attack
Often need training or equipment that will arouse suspicion
Need to conduct surveillance and gather information on the planned attack location

Learn to recognize the difference between normal and abnormal behavior.

Stay alert and get to know “what is normal” in your world
Staying alert is NOT about becoming paranoid
Staying alert is being aware of one’s surroundings
