Internships

The Oklahoma Highway Safety Office offers an unpaid internship program. Interns have the opportunity to become acquainted with the State and Federal processes related to Highway Safety planning, promotion and execution while working in a state agency serving the citizens of the State of Oklahoma. They will aid various staff members in a wide variety of tasks and projects. They will have the opportunity to respond to inquiries and requests from our various traffic safety partners, answer the phone, sort mail, greet visitors, copy documents and work on various special projects.  Interns must possess good communication skills, be able to work both independently and with others, and be of good moral character.

Internships are available throughout the year. College credit for internships must be arranged by the intern through their college.
