Behavioral Health Case Management Training FAQ's

1. What are the dates for Fundamentals of Case Management Training?

• Training dates are located on our web site under Training Schedule.

2. Where are the training locations?

• Training locations are listed on our web site under Training Schedule.
• The training locations at this time are either in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.  The location of each training is listed beside the training date.

3. I would like to enroll in the Fundamentals of Case Management Training class, but I have not taken the Exam.  I am scheduled to take the Exam in a few days. Will you go ahead and enroll me?

• Participants will need to successfully test and pass the exam with a 70% or higher score prior to being enrolled in training.
• Once participants have successfully passed their exam, they will need to fax the Coaching Report (exam results) to 405-522-8661.  Be sure to write which training date your would like on your Coaching Report before you fax it.
• Enrollment is limited to 40 people.

4. I want to enroll several people for the Fundamentals of Case Management Training.  How can I do that?

• Their Coaching Reports must be faxed  to (405) 522-8661.  We must verify a passing exam score in our data system prior to enrollment.  Be sure to write which training date they would like to attend on each Coaching Report before you fax it.  As soon as we receive the Coaching Report and can verify a passing score, a confirmation email regarding registration in the training will be sent.
• A correspondence e-mail will be sent to each individual that has registered.
• Enrollment is limited to 40 people.

5. I just passed my exam today can I enroll in the training class?

• We must verify a passing exam score in our system prior to enrollment. Our system does not indicate exam score information the same date of exam completion. You must fax the Coaching Report to 405-522-8661.  Be sure to write on the Coaching Report which training you would like to attend before you fax it.

6. My application was returned to me and I have not done anything since then. Can I enroll in the training class?

• You must first complete the application process and pass the exam before you can enroll in training.
• Once you have completed your on-line application, you only have 6 months to complete the application process before your application expires.  If it has been more than six (6) months since you completed your online application, you will have to start the process over at the beginning.
• If it has been less than six (6) months since you completed your online application, you must complete the identified corrections on the letter that was attached to your returned materials.
• Return all information to ODMHSAS Case Management so that we may continue your application process.
• You will then receive a letter via e-mail for you to take the exam. Once you have successfully completed the exam fax your Coaching Report to us at 405-522-8661.  Please be sure to write the training date you would like to attend on the Coaching Report before you fax it to us.

7. I have to leave/come to the training late/early. Will I still get my certificate?

• You are required to attend the entire training from beginning to end. You put yourself at risk of not receiving your certificate if your training time is not completed.
• Training time is established by our
Chapter 50 Standards.

8. I did not pass my exam, but I want to enroll in the class. Is this allowed?

• We cannot enroll you until you pass your exam because class size is limited.  You must supply a successful exam score before you will be enrolled in the class.

9. I want to attend one day of training and not two days. Can I change my days to one day of training and not two and can I decide which day I want to attend?

• No you cannot.  Each participant gets a email that indicates the dates that they are required to attend training.
• The days of training are from our
Chapter 50 Standards and each participant is required to attend those days from the original information that was submitted with their application.

10. I missed the last training, will you automatically enroll me in the next training or should I just show up?

• Participants will need to notify Case Management that they would like to attend the next available training class. This can be done by e-mail or fax 405-522-8661.
• Exam scores should be loaded into our system to allow your enrollment without faxing the Coaching Report.
• We do not accept on-site enrollment, so participants will not be allowed to stay if they do not pre-enroll.
