The ODMHSAS Communications Team works hard to provide Oklahomans with the most up-to-date information concerning The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and its providers. Click here to visit Communications web page. The Department is dedicated to protecting the rights of those who receive its services. Promoting clients' rights and interests is known as advocacy. To implement this important activity, the Department operates a Consumer Advocacy Division. Click here to visit the Consumer Rights web page. ODMHSAS Provider Certification manages the statutory certification processes stipulated by O.S., Title 43A, fl 2-101. As such, ODMHSAS is responsible for certifying all Alcohol and Drug Treatment programs, Community Mental Health Centers and Community Residential Care Mental Health programs, Gambling Treatment programs, Eating Disorder Treatment programs, Community-Based Structured Crisis Centers, and Programs of Assertive Community Treatment.
