More than 4,000 teachers nationwide have just learned the exciting news that they have achieved National Board Certification, demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully prepare students for 21st century careers. To date, more than 106,000 teachers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia have achieved the profession’s highest mark of accomplishment through a rigorous, performance-based, peer-review process.The state of Oklahoma ranks 9th in total the number of National Board Certified Teachers, with 3,076. In 2013, OCTP awarded 23 Transforming Educator Development Grants to 14 educator preparation programs. Grants were awarded for projects informing best practice, reflecting educator preparation transformation and aligned to InTASC standards. Research included initiatives in P12 clinical partnerships, teacher performance assessment, and educator preparation reforms. The results of this research can be found in the Transforming Education Preparation Grant Reports.

OCTP has compiled an electronic database of CEOE scores for educators and educator candidates for the State of Oklahoma. You may now view your scores online and print an official score report. Click here to set up your account.
