Q. What federal funds are available and where are they going?
A. The Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security has been applying for homeland security related grant funding. Recently, grant monies have been secured through several federal grant projects. Additional information will be posted on this site regarding regional distribution of equipment and sub-grant application requirements as the details are finalized. An overview of the federal dollars awarded to Oklahoma is available on the Grant Information Page. The federal grants are very specific on how they may be used, and how many of the dollars may be used for local and/or state agencies.
