- DME Reuse
Oklahoma ABLE Tech partners with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to provide the Oklahoma Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program (OKDMERP). The program is designed to reuse durable medical equipment that is no longer needed and reassign it to Oklahoma residents who are in need at no cost.
OKDMERP retrieves donated equipment; sanitizes and refurbishes devices returning DME to peak performance; works with DME vendors to repair equipment if needed to ensure quality; and reassign DME to the best matched eligible client.
Donations provide quality DME, which might otherwise remain unused, to those in need.
Recipients in need get DME, increase their quality of life, and gain independence.
Any Oklahoma resident who is in need of DME, regardless of income. Priority will be given to SoonerCare members, but any resident is eligible to receive DME with a completed application.
Any Oklahoma resident who wishes to donate gently used equipment to the program to help another Oklahoman in need.
