The Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) and the Jurisprudence Examination (JP) are required to become licensed in Oklahoma.
National Examination (EPPP)
The EPPP is an objective examination of basic psychology. Once an applicant is approved to sit for the exams, the Board office will provide ASPPB with the applicant's contact information, and a link will be sent via email from ASPPB to register for the EPPP.
*Effective no later than January 1, 2026, the EPPP is one examination with two parts, EPPP (Part 1 - Knowledge) and EPPP (Pary 2 - Skills).

EXAM INFORMATION:
A passing score for the EPPP is the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) recommended pass point of 500 or better.
Already passed the EPPP? ASPPB automatically transfers your score to Oklahoma when your application is sent via the PLUS online portal.

Jurisprudence Examination (JP)
The Jurisprudence Examination is based on the Rules of the Board, Psychologists Licensing Act, Code of Ethics, and applicable Oklahoma Mental Health Law. Please review Rules 575:10-1-2 (l) for more information regarding the examination process. *The exam is in-person only. An online exam is not available.
