Oklahoma Emergency Management Conference
The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) and Oklahoma Emergency Management Association (OEMA) have teamed up once again to provide the Oklahoma Emergency Management Conference & Training Day, August 17 – 20 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman, located at 2501 Conference Drive. While work continues to finalize the conference agenda, it’s already sizing up to be an outstanding training opportunity for the emergency management community.
Before you pack your bags, check out these 10 things you need to know for the conference.
Online registration is now closed. On-site registration will be available at the conference beginning Monday, August 17 from 4-6 p.m. and Tuesday at 8 a.m.

The official conference hotel is the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman. In order to receive the discounted conference rate, all hotel reservations must be made by July 24. Reservations may be made by calling the hotel directly at (405) 364-8040.
To pay with a purchase order, a credit card will be needed in order for the hotel to hold your room and to provide you with a confirmation number. Your credit card will not be charged. Write the confirmation number and your contact information on the purchase order and fax it, along with a tax exempt letter, if applicable, to the attention of Sarah Sheely at (866) 577-1273 before July 24. Be sure to provide your contact information in the event the hotel needs additional information.
