Hurricane Gustav evacuees gather their belongings in preparation for their return home to Louisiana. More than a million Louisiana homes were left without power in the wake of Hurricane Gustav.


Thousands of cots and blankets were among the lengthy list of supplies needed at the Oklahoma City Evacuees Support Shelter. Delivery of the resources was coordinated through the State Emergency Operations Center.
